The atmosphere at The Venue strikes a perfect balance between a casual bar and an upscale dining experience. The warm and inviting ambiance, complemented by the friendliness of the staff, sets the stage for enjoyable evenings. As Brian Squire notes, the stellar service by bartenders like Brittany and Kerri enhances the overall experience, making every visit memorable.
The culinary offerings at The Venue are a fusion of familiar comfort food and imaginative twists. Squire’s praise for the big, meaty wings, fried crispy to perfection with unique sauces, demonstrates the restaurant's commitment to quality and flavor. If you’re in the mood for something classic, the thin-crust pizza garnished with an array of fresh toppings is a must-try, as highlighted by both Squire and Donna DiDonato.
Moreover, the menu thoughtfully caters to a variety of palates. Tony B enjoyed the giant pretzel and nachos, while D. Martin raved about the house burger and steak sandwich, calling them the best in the area. The combination of professionalism in the kitchen and a well-curated menu presents diners with extraordinary dishes and satisfying portions, while also ensuring that the food comes out swiftly, even during busy times.
The Venue also understands the importance of ambiance alongside dining, making it the perfect place to enjoy a drink after a round of golf or to gather with friends. The sleek renovation of the bar area contributes to an appealing dining atmosphere, and as Reed mentioned, the lively environment enhances the overall dining experience.

“ We stopped by the Venue after not being able to find parking at a restaurant on where we had a reservation (across from the beach in Garden City, IYKYK). It did not disappoint. Although they were short staffed our server was attentive and our food came out fast. Our table ordered the house burger, steak sandwich, and salmon entree. All were phenomenal. The burger is the best I’ve had in the area and the steak sandwich was on point. It was clear that the chef really knows what they are doing. Draft beer was cold and my wife’s gin cocktail not too sweet. They’ve done a great job with the remodel and we will certainly be back. ”
“ Met a very good friend at The Venue today. Menu was simple of lots of different choices. I had the friend green tomatoes and fresh mozzarella salad. It was delicious. Others at the table had Pizza. It was thin crust and She said was delicious. Other two friends had the steak sandwich. It was served on sour dough bread toasted and they loved it. Homemade “ grandmas” recipe for the Mac salad they said it was very good. Not mayo based. Prices were very reasonable and we had Mac as our server. She was friendly and we had very good service. We definitely will be back. Definitely recommend to try. ”
“ We've been to The Venue several times now. Twice, we were fortunate enough to have Brittany and Kerri tending the bar. Their bright, friendly personalities and stellar service match the ambience of the bar and restaurant. Today we had a combination of wings and pizza, both of which were outstanding. The wings were big, meaty, fresh and fried crispy to perfection. The sauces- we had two- were unique and imaginative. The pizza is superb; a thin crust cooked just right with a great combination of fresh, tasty toppings added in perfect proportions. The Venue, both the physical restaurant and the staff, are a hidden gem at The International Club. I highly recommend giving them a try! ”
“ Saturday evening. The Venue was nearly empty which is mostly why service was excellent. Menu is mostly bar type food, but still good. Giant pretzel, nachos and wing were nice. Regrettably we didn’t get the pizza; it looked great. Four entrees were good, especially the meat loaf and half chicken. Four decent Old Fashioneds weren’t particularly generous pours. A little on the pricey side but not a deal breaker. Add ridiculously high sales tax for an extra sting, tip good for great service, and you’ll lighten your wallet by over $200. Great parking. ”
“ Very nice place. It's the 19th hole at a golf course but somehow so much more. The bar looks amazing and the bartender had a cool hat. Our servers were quick and fun. The appetizer and soup we had was just great and the folks we were with had a bunch of stuff from the menu that lookedcand smelled delicious. I saw tge half chicken, a couple fried sandwiches and appetizers. Everything blew us away. Will be back soon. Great place. ”
“ The place has been completely renovated and is so much better. Nice bright area and it’s spotless. Food was great too, pizza, meatloaf, pastrami sandwich and the burger all yummy! Meadow (our server) was great. Very attentive, polite and pleasant. Sophia (behind the bar) knows how to pull a great pint of Guinness. One recommendation to the management, maybe dim the main lights in the evening (would make for a nice ambiance), and consider installing sound dampening panels on the ceiling. It will help greatly with the noise levels. ”
